  • Dynatrac exclusive Dual-Sump High Volume™ (DSHV) oiling system to ensure the outer pinion bearing is never without lubrication.
  • Dynatrac U.S.-made forged, heat-treated, 35-spline alloy-steel shafts.
  • ProRock 60® high-pinion housing geometry for long suspension travel, and a 2.75-inch raised driveshaft height to protect driveshaft and U-joint from impact with rocks and trail obstacles.

  • This Pro Rock 60 semi-float rear axle assembly does not include brakes - customer is to reuse the brakes from their Jeep JK.
  • The new ram assist/steering stabilizer bracket for the ProRock44 is not compatible with Reid Racing knuckles. If you wish to use Reid Racing knuckles, we can substitute our first-generation raised trackbar bracket which does not have the integrated ram assist/steering stabilizer mount. Love the Prorocks, but not the ARBs...

Bought an 08 JKU with the Prorock 44/60 high-pinion combo already under it – awesome stuff. Didn’t want the ARBs and instead installed Grizzlys, which required some voodoo. The front 30-spline ARB requires the high-pinion D44 carrier bearings (which are different than the low-pinion D44 units), and the rear semi-float 60 uses standard D60 main bearings. If the front had the 35-spline shafts and carrier we wouldn't have been able to drop in a Grizzly because the Grizzlys are only available in a 30-spline.

Front Axle: DynaTrac ProRock high-pinion D44, 5.13 gears, Grizzly locker, LubeLocker gasket, 30-spline RCV shafts, SpynTec free-spin conversion kit, 5.5" hubs, OE D44 brakes, Warn 60165 lockouts (or Warn 20990 with 30-spline gear swap).

-- Note - there was a difference in the carrier bearings between the ARBs and Grizzly's - the ARB bearings had a bigger i.d. than the Grizzly's (we think to permit the use of 35-spline shafts). The pn# for the Grizzly bearings...going into a ProRock D44 housing...is as follows -
-- Grizzly D44 (ProRock) carrier bearings: Timken #25590 (bearing) & #25523 (race)

Rear Axle: DynaTrac ProRock high-pinion semi-float D60, 5.13 gears, Grizzly locker, LubeLocker gasket, DynaTrac 35-spline 5.5" axle shafts, and D44 brakes.
-- Grizzly D60 (ProRock) carrier bearings: Timken #387a (bearing) & #382s (race)
-- Axle shaft bearing: 'SET 10' (bearing and race)
-- Seal: #18731

Only gripe is I wish the rear axle was full float, and looking at the Solid '5 on 5.5 Rear End Kit for D60' to swap onto the ends to truly make the rear end bulletproof - a high-pinion full-float D60 hybrid.

I picked up the 44/60 combo for my 2008 Jk . I installed them over a weekend right before I did a 6.4 and 8 speed swap. I selected the ARBs with 4:88 gears. The axles have been amazing , the jeep drives and handles great . they feel super solid . I have had them a year now and ZERO complaints . I would buy them again 100%

I installed these axles myself with a couple friends to help move them around. There is no comparison to the strength and quality of these axles. I'm am beyond satisfied with the axles and Dynatrac customer service.

This set is perfect for adding a bit of confidence on the trail.

I have the PR44 and the PR60 in my 16 JK with ARBs,5:13 gears. Easy to install, a couple guys with a little bit of mechanical knowledge can install these in a long weekend.
